I’m now back home with my family for Easter, which meant I had to fill up a makeup bag and bring back only a very small portion of my makeup to last me three weeks (horror, I know). I feel that the products I brought back are a good representation of what looks/makeup I like to apply in the spring so I thought I’d share it with you in the hope that I can have some suggestions of good products for spring!
Base and face
The Body Shop Skin Defence SPF 50 – this is the best thing for pale skin as the weather gets warmer, I always put this on straight after my moisturiser in the spring and summer to protect my skin (because I’m really pale)
Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation
Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation – I love how light and dewy this foundation is, and it’s so cheap!
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer – (See every blog post I’ve ever written to see why I love this concealer)
MAC Coppertone Blush – Perfect blush colour if you want warmth rather than pinky tones
MAC Highlighter in Beaming Blush
Liz Earle Radiant Bronzer
(Some samples too from FeelUnique – NARS Orgasm blush and a Smashbox Pore Perfecting primer I wanted to try out)
Eyes and Brows
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade
Liz Earle Eyebrow Pencil – this is great as the weather is lighter because my hair lightens too so I like to have lighter, more natural, subtle brows.
Liz Earle Pencil Sharpener
Charlotte Tilbury Eyelash Curlers – Aren’t they gorgeous?
Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara
NYX Liquid Eyeliner
MAC Pigments in Vanilla and Melon
MAC Paint Pots in Indiawood and Camel Coat
MAC Burgandy Times Nine palette
My Urban Decay eyeshadow palette – this has 3 MAC shades in it, the names of which I’ve forgotten and a UD eyeshadow, I want to buy a X 4 MAC palette for my MAC shades because they don’t fit into this UD palette – first world problems eh?
Lips and Liner
Charlotte Tilbury Lipsticks in Secret Salma, Amazing Grace and Love Liberty (Can not recommend these lipsticks enough!)
MAC lipliner in Whirl, such a versatile liner shade
NYX Soft Matte Creams in Stockholm and Monte Carlo
Smashbox Lighting Theory Palette
I am actually amazed I managed to fit all of this into one little makeup bag which I bought for travelling because it’s see through and you can get the 100ml bottles in it so it’s suitable for flying. It’s from Superdrug and I love it because it stands up on its own which is handy and it holds all of my bulky foundation bottles and eyeshadow palettes!
