Travel with a history student | Jet-setting essentials

This year I’ve done two mini breaks in Europe, the first in Lisbon, the second in Berlin. I did a post before about what to take on a flight in your carry on, but I thought I’d do another post on essential products for just a weekend away by showing you what I’m taking with me!

When going away for a few days, I use the opportunity to use up all my samples and minis that I’ve acquired. I have SO many. You’ll notice a lot of this are samples.

OGX Hair products*

I love the OGX range, their products make my hair feel so soft and the shampoos are really cleansing. I recieved these travel size products at a blogger event and they’ll be perfect for my weekend away.

Sunglasses

When you finally reach Summer in mainland Europe, just because the weather in the UK is touchy, doesn’t mean everywhere else is!

Hand Sanitiser

Necessity when travelling.

Blush, bronze and highlighter compact*

I love this compact, the blush and bronze are pretty matte shades and they really suit my fair complexion. The highlighter isn’t ‘poppin’ but it’s subtle enough for everyday wear.

Magnitone Wipe Out cleansing cloth

I got this in my Look Fantastic Advent Calender and I am so excited to test it out. It is ideal for travelling because it dries quickly and it doesn’t take up space.

Revlon Coral Lipstick

Summery colour, versatile with most outfits and it enhances any tan you’ve picked up.

Kiko double ended eyeliner

Two colours in one pencil – always genius.

Elemis Night Cream Sample

Another product I had in my advent calender.
