Skincare Wishlist 2017

When you’re surrounded by skincare and beauty products, it is difficult for me to not get sucked in by the hype. That’s why, when I started working for a skincare brand, I developed a bit of an obsession (a hobby, maybe?) and now I love trying new products. I only realised the importance of a skincare routine once I’d started working in that industry, and now I can’t stop trying new products and brands. Here are the products I’m lusting after this year;

I received a sample of this when I bought the cleansing balm from Clinique and I thought I would never find a moisturiser I loved as much as Body Shop’s Vitamin E or Nuxe’s Anti – Fatigue cream, but this is incredible for dry skin. I wouldn’t need it during the spring or autumn, but when the wind is biting in December, this moisturiser has been protecting my skin amazingly. It sets in so quickly, it feels amazing and it sits very well under makeup.

Charcoal masks are incredible for deep pore cleanses, and I love Origins because their products are so natural. This is a must-have.

I received a sample of these through the Glamour Beauty Squad and I loved how quick and easy they were to use. I’d like to get these so that I can cleanse my face quickly when I’m not wearing makeup and don’t need such a heavy cleanser, like my Clinique Cleanse Balm or Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish.

More Clinique – I’ve really surprised myself with how much I’m loving them at the moment – this toner felt amazing and it sorted out my hormonal skin almost immediately after using a sample.

Another toner (who needs more than one toner? Me apparently) which has become the blogger holy grail is made by Pixi. It has been all over social media and blogs in the past few months. I am dying to try it out and see if it lives up to the hype.

I noticed these on InTheFrow‘s youtube channel and I like the look of the trio of masks to target specific areas. Also, a slightly cheaper option to the Origins mask!

What’s on your wishlist this year? Is there any skincare on there?

Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas!

  1. The Clinique moisture thirst has been my go-to for a couple of years now. I swear by it!! Also Pixi glow tonic is a fave of mine too. Definitely worth trying and a nice gentle intro into using acids too. I always follow it up with a moisturizing toner afterwards too. Great post lovely xx
